The Philosophy:

 

The College is a self-financing educational institution managed by a team of eleven-member Managing Committee. Since the vision of the founder chairman has been socialistic, egalitarian and democratic, the MC reflects social and professional diversity in its composition. The SKM  has been striving hard to create a stimulating, invigorating, interactive teaching-learning environment, to provide avenues and opportunities s well as a solid knowledge-base to the students for developing their skills, abilities and capacities.  The SKM aims at promoting a socio-educational environment which may help nurture the students with a strong sense of social responsibility, mutual cooperation and better communication skills in view of matching up to the aspirations of the new era of globalization.  The end-goal is to educate and train the rural youth force into a powerful catalyst of massive socio-economic transformation contributing their best in the nation building.

 

The Vision:

 The vision of the SKM has been to create a modern, progressive and skilled youth power that values its glorious past, rich social-behavioral traditions, and a powerful heritage base. It focuses on inculcating a strong sense of human compassion and social-environmental consciousness among its members.  The idea is to shape and plan the careers of those who are future planners, leaders, builders and decision-makers.  Adhering the supreme idea of excellence, the SKM is dedicated to building a new learning culture where the distance between teacher and taught is blurred in search of true knowledge and creating a new partnership of exchange of ideas between the two, and where class-rooms turn out into the places of curiosity and intellectual engagement. The SKM campus provides a strong atmosphere of creativity that helps broaden the social, psychological and mental horizons of the learners and allows them to develop a new worldview built up upon a pluralist, tolerant, secular and liberal ethos. This vision is finally aimed at pooling up open-minded, active, alert, energetic and socially productive members who look back to their villages and homes while launching a new revolution of aspirations  and contribute their best in building a strong India.

 

The Methodology:

 The SKM practices teaching methodologies to actualize and realize the aforesaid vision.  Its aspirations comprise of a judicious blend of theory and practice. Class-room lectures dotted with paper-presentations, regular periods allocated for assignments tutorials, periodic tests, seminar and term papers, workshops and symposia, guest-lectures, and field tours throughout the year are some of the favorite activities adopted by the SKM faculty members to interest and engage the students. The SKM is proud of its dedicated faculty which closely monitors the thoughts, actions and learning out-comes of their students and has always been available to act as friendly counselor and supervisors. Teachers’ efforts to draw out the best talents and potentials of the students to the fore and their willingness to help them make the right, choices decisions and actions when confronted with real life challenges and practical aspects of living are some of those strengths of the college that have helped it earn a positive reputation amongst the community.
To encourage and promote the cause of such a faculty the SKM on its part has always tried to help update their knowledge base and skills by encouraging them to participate in orientation programs, refresher courses, workshops, seminars and other academic activities organized by the University as well as other colleges in the city, and has allowed and motivated them to go on tours and excursions and visit successful institutions. The College believes in allowing free and easy access to its various resources whenever needed and demanded by the members of the teaching faculty.

 

Aims & Objectives:

One of the most important objectives of the institute is to endeavor through education, training, development extension and consultancy to play a positive role in the integrated development of well qualified professional manpower at all level. It aims the mission statement and includes the vital issues for expected result

The manager must have a clear picture of what they want to accomplish. So they plan the vision to others and motivate to work towards on the vision. They inspire ideas and draw others to work with the problem that seems insistently interlocks, provide non instructional support.
